Bed & Breakfast on our working croft next to the sea

Carn-Raineach is situated on our croft next to the sea in the crofting township of Camusteel. We are ideally placed for the Applecross Inn, the Potting Shed Restaurant and the Junction, the three excellent eating places in Applecross, as the distance is only about 1.5 miles. If required, we provide free transport to these three locations.

Breakfast at Carn-Raineach, which includes our own produce from the croft, is served in the breakfast room which has stunning views over the sea looking towards Raasay, Rona and Skye. As well as providing a full Scottish cooked breakfast, we also cater for vegetarians.

We offer comfortable, affordable accommodation in two rooms - a double/twin room and a double room. Both rooms have private facilities and coffee and tea making facilities. Carn-Raineach is a home from home. On arrival, you are welcomed with tea or coffee and home baking served in the breakfast room.

Applecross is an ideal place to stay whether you are travelling the NC500 or if you intend a longer stay. There are sandy beaches, forest and mountain walks, kayaking, cycling, angling and friendly, welcoming locals. If you are more adventurous, there is rock climbing and caving. In addition to these activities, it is also a place where you can simply relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the Western Highlands. Find out more about Applecross at Visit Applecross.
